Is B-Safe licensed and insured?
Yes, all our vehicles include at least one fully licensed electrician and we meet the full Licensing Requirements of the Electrical Contractor Registration Agency (ECRA) and electrical safety authority (ESA). We also carry a liability coverage of $5,000,000.00 (Industry standard is $2M) we also carry a full WSIB plan. Our electricians guarantee both quality and safety. We supervise each project to ensure this.
Why is it important to hire a properly licensed electrician?
Electrical work is very specialized. It takes over 5 years to get an Electrician’s License. An unlicensed electrician may not be up to date on code regulations or even aware of some safety codes, they may also not have the proper tools. All of this can lead to future problems in your electrical system which could result in a fire or put people in danger of injury or death. Electrician is a very precise and potentially dangerous profession, unlicensed electricians are more prone to work accidents and you may become the subject of a lawsuit. They might also lead to having to hire a licensed electrician to fix the problems left by an inexperienced electrician resulting in extra costs. If you do develop a problem, insurance companies do not cover damages associated with unlicensed contractors. Basically electricians are licensed to protect you, your co-workers, and your property.

What’s the charge for an electrician to come out?
We generally have a $155.00 (Plus Tax) Flat-Rate Fee. Our Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Accounts in good standing get a Preferred Rate. This amount gives you 2 hours of the Electrician’s time and includes for a few small parts. Please call the office should you require further pricing info.
Will an Electrician come out at night or on the weekends?
Yes, standard overtime rates will apply.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit cards and of course all our Preferred Corporate customers are set up with accounts so billing is really easy.
What if I’m NOT HAPPY when you’re done?
No problem. We’ll make it right! We believe in long term business relationships. With over 15 years in business we’ve had the odd call go bad just like anyone, but read a few of our testimonials. You’ll be happy!
What kind of guarantees do you offer?
All our work is fully insured and comes with warranty. We have a standard 1 year warranty on all work performed and a 2 year warranty on all projects. However, should you EVER be unhappy, call in and we’ll make it right!
What if the bill is more than I thought, or was told?
Billing and all charges are always fully explained to a level desired by our clients. Should you ever have a question, please call the office, we’ll make it right.
I need to install a new piece of equipment in my office but I’m afraid I might overload the circuit. What should I do?
We will generally do FREE site inspections and quotes. Give us a call and explain what you require. We’ll have one of our Resident Master Electricians give you honest solid advice.
My “Brother-in-law, neighbour, Handyman, Guy-Down-the-Hall”, etc., says he can probably ‘do this’ for a lot less.
